Dynamique des Systèmes et Adaptativité (eAdapt)
Thématiques de recherche : My research work focuses on using agent modeling to study the relationship of population with the environment in a effort to understand the best ways to steer their behavior to be more beneficial with regard to the environment. I am especially interested in studying this problem through the social sciences (psychology, economics, sociology…) point of view. In doing so, I expect to bridge the gaps between the purely numerical models that are, relatively easy to compute, and the social sciences research which aim to truly understand human behaviors. Moreover, I intend to specifically work on the mediation of my research results, which is a challenge in itself. Tackling this challenge will mean leveraging the results of the initial research (understanding a behavior and how to guide it can require understanding how to explain concepts), the current state-of-the-art solutions in mediation as well as different entities working with the University such as the Common'lab or the Maison des étudiants but also voluntary groups such as Les Petits Débrouillards.
